Assistant Contracts Manager
I started as a Cleaner and Grounds Operative in 2012. After one year I was promoted to a Cleaning and Grounds Supervisor role, and by 2019 I was promoted to Assistant Contracts Manager. Working at Just Ask has been an amazing opportunity for me to grow in my management career and enjoy a successful pathway to date.
The work/life balance is certainly a big plus point, while there’s great communication with managers within a professional establishment. I have a very secure role with development opportunities and a yearly personal development review. I am provided with a company vehicle and petrol card, also there are great discounts available at all kinds of shops.
Dercio Gomes
Assistant Contracts Manager
I started with Just Ask in 2014 as a Grounds Maintenance Operative, and then in 2016 I was promoted to Grounds Supervisor. In 2022 I was promoted to Assistant Manager looking after a team that covers the needs of three clients.
I enjoy working with my team on the ground and facing the daily challenges that arise. My favourite work task is turning a negative situation into a positive one, and I really like working with the residents. The management is very supportive and approachable, which puts me at ease.

Cleaning Operative
I started with Just Ask in 2021 as I wanted to take a break from my previous management role – during Covid, I reflected on just how important the work/life balance is. With Just Ask, as the job is Monday to Friday, I finally have my life back! Just Ask is a company which allows me to be a cleaner, yet I am also encouraged to grow with the company too.
