Our Training Academy
Courses are run at our in-house training academy which is accredited to British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) professional standards. This ensures industry best practice is always followed.
Our courses range from induction training, cleaning skills, health and safety – including IOSH qualificatioins, customer service and bespoke training relevant to each particular client’s needs. This is supplemented by our online e-learning platform that boasts over 100 courses in more than 30 languages.
Our focus on operating an ethical, well-run, good place to work, with appropriately trained teams and providing them with career enhancing opportunities, also means we have a high staff retention rate.
Examples of our training include:
Induction and Introduction to Nexgen
Covering Nexgen company values, Nexgen Salesforce system, Safeguarding, Health and Safety including Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) and Safe systems of work (SSOW) and Housing Association resident interaction training.
Role Specific Training
Including City & Guilds in horticulture and using equipment, PA1 and PA6, BICSc License to practice, deep cleaning practices, biohazards and needle stick training, bulk waste safe removal, unblocking waste chutes and window cleaning, amongst other training required to carry out the role safely.
Uniform and PPE
Full uniform including ID Badge and personal protective equipment (PPE) is issued during induction training.
Code of Conduct
First impressions are hugely important and are covered extensively within our induction training.
Customer Service
Operatives are trained in how to manage customer and resident expectations to provide the highest quality services and standards.
