Business Development Manager

Job purpose:
Identify new and existing sales leads, converting these into opportunities, achieving sales targets; pitch our wide range of services to new clients, whilst demonstrating superior service knowledge.

Business Development Manager duties:

  • Develop new business relationships, not limited to RSL/Public Sector
  • Responding to all types of communications within defined company timescales
  • Develop proposals and strategy
  • Collaborate with the Senior Management Team on existing opportunities
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline using the AIMS platform
  • Meet and exceed sales targets for new and existing sales targets
  • Deliver the defined profit for each converted lead
  • Effective handover of converted opportunities to the Senior Management Team
  • Monitor changes and developments within our industries
  • Develop, build and strengthen client  and resident relationships
  • Develop  measures to motivate all employees
  • Ensure we are exceeding and leading the way in truly exceptional customer service delivery

Skills/Qualifications:
Positive and tenacious in researching and developing new business, influencing skills, confident negotiating skills to close the deal, uses ones initiative, understanding of marketing principles, problem solving with the ability to generate solutions. Excellent organizational and time management skills, flexibility, attention to details and having the ability to cope with competing demands to prioritise tasks, beginning with ‘the end in mind’.
