Board of Directors shows their commitment to community volunteering project
Just Ask are becoming increasingly aware of the difficulties facing some of our most vulnerable residents.
Our community volunteering project was set up to support residents in the communities where it is most needed.
Today we teamed up with our investors (Bridges) to support Terry, a 73 year old man who has lived in the area all his life. Terry’s garden had become overgrown and was no longer accessible. Like so many older people that we see in our communities today, he was reluctant to ask for help when he needed it most.
The partnerships that we have built with the housing associations help us to identifying some of our most vulnerable members of our community who need our support.
It was a privilege to meet Terry today; we really enjoyed bringing Terry’s garden back to life. He will now be able to spend time outside enjoying his garden.
We are committed to supporting our housing association residents, and we continue to support out in the communities that we work alongside.
If you are one of our partners and have a project that you feel would benefit from the Just Ask volunteering program, we would love to hear from you!
Better places, better lives… just ask!
